2011 Arklahoma Shootout! Tournament was another success.

Even though we lost two teams to financial constraints at the last hour, the 6 teams entered proved to be greatly competitive.  The Tulsa MTBL WBO Barracudas repeated their title run by going undefeated in the tournament.  Local NWAMSBL 25+ Yankees finished a close second and the Van Buren Hogs (with a little help from some NWACC players) finished a strong third winning both of their games on day 2 against a strong Conway team and the Semi-Pro team from Pine Bluff (who had to resort to bringing in a utility player from the NWAMSBL Front Office to handle second base duties when they came up short-handed).

Here is a photo of the Fayetteville Yankees with their Runner-Up Trophy!

Here is the MSBL-MABL promotional video that was shot in the late 80's featuring national founder, Steve Sigler (who is a great hitter...almost hit the cycle in an exhibition game here in Northwest Arkansas back in 2003)

ABOUT OUR LEAGUE--The MSBL/MABL is the Nation's premier amateur baseball league with over 60,000 members on more than 3,500 teams in over 325 cities.  This is the real-deal baseball for adults over 18.  Our local chapter was founded in1991 and currently is made up of  teams in the Northwest Arkansas region, The River Valley, SW Missouri, NE Oklahoma, and SE Kansas areas. There are multiple divisions for age categories, although we currently only operate the 18+ MABL , the 25+ MSBL, and the new 35+ MSBL Mid-Week League.   Players come from all walks of life and all levels of experience from former professionals to current collegiate players, and from former Little Leaguers to those who have never played ball, but love the game.

For more information on how you can Join Our League or just get involved, please contact our League President, Stephen Boudreaux, through the link above or call 479-236-4220.
